Trent Green Undergoes Surgery, Will Be Ready For Season Opener

Kansas City Star - Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Trent Green underwent minor surgery on Wednesday after he felt numbness in his leg. Coach Dick Vermeil says the surgery is not serious and that Green will be ready for the Sept. 11 season opener.

?It?s not like having a heart transplant,? Vermeil said.
