Freeney, Harrison Among Colts Sitting Out Practice
1st November, 2007 - 8:34 am
ESPN - The Indianapolis Colts held out of Wednesday's practice Pro Bowl players defensive end Dwight Freeney and wide receiver Marvin Harrison, and starting guard Ryan Lilja.

All three were listed as out for the practice because of a team decision.

Harrison, an eight-time Pro Bowler and the franchise's career receiving leader, has missed two of the last three games with a bruised left knee although coach Tony Dungy was optimistic Harrison would play in Sunday's showdown against undefeated New England.

"He won't practice today, but I do anticipate he'll practice tomorrow," Dungy said before practice. "I think he'll play [Sunday], but we'll have to see how it goes."

The absence of Freeney is not an uncommon occurrence. He also sat out last Wednesday's workout and has occasionally taken extra days off this season to stay healthy. [READ]
