Dolphins Granted Gado Off Waivers

KNXV-TV - The Miami Dolphins have been awarded running back Samkon Gado off waivers from the Houston Texans.

Gado appeared in just three games this season with Houston, rushing for 46 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries. He also caught eight passes for 59 yards.

Miami entered a claim for Gado last week after it was learned that Ronnie Brown would be sidelined for the season because of a torn ACL. The team received an exemption from the NFL to finish the transaction because of its trip to London last week.

The Dolphins released defensive tackle Sam Rayburn to open a roster spot. Rayburn was signed on October 10 and was inactive for each the team's last three games. [READ]
