Green Hesitant About Taking Plea Deal

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green is hesitant about accepting a plea agreement offered by the Brown County District Attorney's office taking a plea bargain might lead to NFL sanctions against him.

Green may let a jury decide if he is guilty of a misdemeanor disorderly conduct / domestic abuse charge.

Of primary concern for Green is the possibility of a fine or suspension by the National Football League if he accepts a deal. Unless Green is cleared of all charges, he faces possible punishment by NFL commissioner Paul Tagliabue under the league's personal conduct policy. [READ]
