Bears Have No Plans To Trade Grossman

Chicago Sun-Times - With the trade deadline Monday and the rash of injuries around the league at quarterback, it would seem to be an ideal time for the Bears to shop Rex Grossman in hopes of getting a draft pick for a player whose contract expires at the end of the season.

But offensive coordinator Ron Turner still insists he believes in Grossman and wants him on the team.

"We need him," Turner said. "That's the first I ever heard of [trade talk]. Rex is a very good player, and I still have a lot of confidence in him." [READ]
