Tebow Received Hundreds Of Threats In Days Before LSU Game

The Times-Union - Florida quarterback Tim Tebow received hundreds of anonymous threatening phone calls and text messages in the days before and after the Gators' 28-24 loss at top-ranked LSU last Saturday in Baton Rouge, La.

Some of the messages sent to his cell phone threatened bodily harm and even death, Tebow's father, Bob, told the Times-Union on Tuesday.

"It was horrible," Bob Tebow said Tuesday. "It would still be going on if we didn't change [Tim's cell-phone number]."
