Former USC WR Requests Hearing, Hopes For Full Transfer To Oregon

Los Angeles Daily News - Former USC wide receiver Jamere Holland formally requested a hearing Tuesday to grant his full transfer release to Pacific-10 Conference rival Oregon.

USC already planned to hold a hearing later this month but Holland made an official request because he wants to guarantee a full scholarship if he transfers to Oregon, a move opposed by USC coach Pete Carroll.

Holland earned an initial victory when a recent hearing granted him the right to communicate with Oregon. But that hearing did not grant a full release, which means Holland would have to pay his own tuition for a year if he transferred.

USC opposed a move to Florida but did not block a move to UNLV. [READ]
