Lions officials spent Sunday evaluating players cut around the NFL, looking for potential upgrades, while putting together a practice squad.
The Lions? backup quarterbacks ? J.T. O?Sullivan and Dan Orlovsky ? have 17 NFL throws combined, and Jacksonville cut veteran quarterback Byron Leftwich.
Asked if the Lions were interested at all in Leftwich, coach Rod Marinelli said: ?We?re going to look at all these guys right now. We?re up actually right now watching tape on just about everybody that?s been released.? [READ] |
