Report: Huard Named Chiefs Starting QB

Yahoo.com - Damon Huard apparently will be under center when the Chiefs open the regular season against the Texans on September 9.

The Kansas City Star reported on its web site Saturday that coach Herman Edwards has tabbed Huard the club's starting quarterback over Brodie Croyle.

According to the report, Edwards made the move to go with Huard after Croyle struggled in Thursday's 30-7 preseason loss to New Orleans. [READ]
