Browns Come To Terms With CB Mickens

The Plain Dealer - Cleveland Browns veteran cornerback Ray Mickens confirmed that he has agreed to contract terms with the Browns and will be at the Browns? 2:30 p.m. practice today provided he passes his physical.

Mickens (5-8, 180) is a nine-year veteran of the Jets and played for Romeo Crennel there from 1997 to 1999. He said he agreed to a one-year deal, terms of which were undisclosed. "But it's a good deal," he said. "It's close to what I was making in New York. It wasn't the best offer, but it was definitely the best opportunity." [READ]
