Monday, October 15, 2001 - MILWAUKEE - Considering Denver Nuggets all-star forward Antonio McDyess recently had major knee surgery, it was best that he not accompany the team on its current three-game road trip. But once the regular season begins, coach Dan Issel expects McDyess to be a regular on the road during his rehabilitation. McDyess had successful surgery Friday to repair a partially torn patellar tendon in his left knee and to clean out his right knee. The 6-foot-9, 245-pounder is expected to return by February. |
