Poor shooting and slow starts to open both halves led to the Sonics' second straight road exhibition loss, a 69-62 defeat to the Suns last night at America West Arena.

The Sonics, who shot 29.4 percent from the floor, didn't convert for the first 2 minutes, 20 seconds of the first half, and for the first three minutes of the second. But with the Suns shooting (35.8 percent) every bit as poorly, neither team got much momentum going until late in the game.
