Vick's Presence On Falcons' Web Site Has Diminished

Atlanta Journal-Constitution - Michael Vick's jersey sales are plummeting. His endorsement deals are teetering. Even his presence on the Atlanta Falcons' Web site is diminished.

The months-long investigation that led to the Falcons quarterback's indictment Tuesday on federal dogfighting charges, combined with a series of lesser controversies, are sacking Vick as a marketing machine, experts said Wednesday.

"He's going to disappear, like a magic act," said Bill Sutton, a professor of sports business at the University of Central Florida. "You won't find him anywhere" in advertising or marketing in the near future. [READ]
