Browns Rookie Edwards Signs Ending 18-Practice Holdout

The Pla - Top pick Braylon Edwards signed a five-year deal with the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, effectively ending the longest contract dispute in the History of the new Browns.

Slated to make as much as $40 million, Edwards did not report to camp as his agent Lamont Smith could not get a flight to Chicago Wednesday evening to seal the deal.

"I'd say it was more difficult, but you seem to say that every year. The system is a tough one," Collins said. [READ]
