Texas State's Washington Eligible For NFL's Supplemental Draft
4th July, 2007 - 9:42 pm
ESPN.com - Texas State hybrid defender Mark Washington has been declared eligible for the NFL's special July 12 supplemental draft.

A defensive lineman at Texas State in 2006, and perhaps miscast at tackle, Washington is projected as a linebacker at the NFL level, and, because of his diverse skills, might be best suited for a team that employs a 3-4 front.

Washington, 22, is a longshot to be chosen in the supplemental draft, but because he has played defensive end, defensive tackle and linebacker, might draw late-round interest. If he is not chosen, Washington has a good chance of being signed as a free agent for camp. [READ]
