It was there that Tony Romo held Carrie Underwood's purse while she went to accept an award - an action he would soon regret.
Once his teammates heard about the purse-holding incident, Romo was made fun of for a while. But when Tony was asked about his relationship with Carrie, he had a few words of his own:
"I was just supporting Carrie," Romo said. "We are good friends. We get to see each other go through different things in life. It was neat to go there and listen to some good music and get away for the night." And when asked about how holding a woman's purse could turn into such a big story, Tony simply replied with "You have to help out when you can." [READ] |
