| 20th June, 2007 - 2:47 pm |  News4Jax.com - Authorities have charged NFL football player Adam "Pacman" Jones with two felonies in connection with a triple shooting at Minxx strip club, according to Las Vegas TV station KVVU.
After reviewing the Feb. 19 incident, prosecutors agreed there is sufficient evidence to charge Jones with two counts of felony coercion, Las Vegas police said. The charges mark the latest off-field nightmare for Jones, a Tennessee Titans cornerback who was recently slapped with a one-year suspension by the NFL and is being sought for questioning about gunfire that erupted this weekend outside a strip club in Atlanta, KVVU reported.
Authorities in Atlanta have said they do not believe Jones played any role in the shooting, but was at the strip club and may know the people responsible. [READ] |
