Grossman Has No Hard Feelings About 'Joke'

Daily Southtown - Tommie Harris called it a matter of no offense intended. Rex Grossman insisted there was none taken.

The two Bears shook hands for the cameras Monday, but said there really was no reason for apologies. Harris, while in Philadelphia attending a fundraiser for the Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb's foundation, had made a few comments to reporters -- in what he later described as "jest" -- about wanting McNabb to play for the Bears.

Any possible bad feelings on the part of Grossman toward Harris for the comments appeared nonexistent Monday at Halas Hall in Lake Forest.

"It was never really started," Grossman said about bad feelings. "It's not that big a deal." [READ]
