Goodell Could Suspend Vick

NY Daily News - NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has handed down suspensions to Pacman Jones and Chris Henry. Tank Johnson, who will be released from prison today, could be up next, set to meet with Goodell on Wednesday. But none of these suspensions would compare to one Goodell might decide to slap on Michael Vick.

Goodell could effectively end the Falcons' season if he sits Vick for an extended period of time.

Goodell's track record of strict enforcement, and putting the integrity of the game first, indicates that Vick may be in jeopardy.

"From the facts we have so far, it's not a pretty picture," said Falcons owner Arthur Blank. "It's clearly an issue and we'll wait and see what revolves around it. I'm not a prosecutor or an attorney so I'm not going to sit in judgment of Michael."

Vick said Goodell and Blank have "challenged me to be more accountable in all areas of my life." [READ]
