Falcons Release Eric Beverly

AP - The Falcons released tight end Eric Beverly, who played in 45 games for the team.

The 6-foot-3, 300-pound Beverly spent seven seasons with the Detroit Lions as an offensive lineman before signing with the Falcons in 2004. The Falcons then converted him to a blocking tight end. He had one reception for no gain for Atlanta last season. [READ]
