Houston Chronicle - Texans defensive end Mario Williams says he was not racing in a video posted on several Internet Web sites that shows him speeding on a North Carolina highway, but he admits it was a foolish mistake.

The video was shot last week while Williams was in Raleigh, N.C., for North Carolina State's spring football game Saturday.

Williams, who was drafted No. 1 out of North Carolina State in 2006 by the Texans, is shown driving a Lamborghini LP640, which he recently purchased.

"It was a stupid thing to do, and I apologize to the fans, the organization and my teammates for not being smart, " Williams told the Chronicle on Thursday night. "I shouldn't have put myself in that situation, and I have definitely learned my lesson." [READ]
