Raiders Zeroing In On Russell

Philadelphia Daily News - The Raiders appear to be finished with their fascination of Calvin Johnson and leaning toward selecting JaMarcus Russell, though Brady Quinn remains a distant alternative.

"Russell is like a video game," said Lane Kiffin, the Raiders' first-year coach. "There isn't a throw he can't make. And some of the throws he can make, I don't know that anybody else can.

"He can [run] way over there [in one direction] and throw the ball 70 yards back over there [in the other direction]. That's real exciting and everything. But how often does that happen in a season? Maybe two times in 16 games. So you've got to dig deeper because that doesn't happen that much. I know it's a scout's dream to have a guy like that. But . . . " [READ]
