Chiefs Sign K Aaron Barret

Press Release - Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Wednesday that the club has agreed to terms of a two-year contract with free agent K Aaron Barret. No other terms of the agreement were made available.

Barret (5-10, 175) comes to Kansas City after appearing in three games for the Bakersfield Blitz of Arena Football League 2 in 2006. He saw action in five games at the University of New Mexico in 2003, connecting on his only FG attempt and adding one PAT. Prior to joining the Lobos, he converted nine of 13 field goals and five of seven PATs for 32 points for Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California in 2002. Barret began his collegiate football career at Hawaii in 2001. He also played baseball at The Master?s College (2001), Saddleback College (2002-03) and Vanguard College (2005). [READ]
