Chiefs Sign DT Reed To Three-Year Deal

Press Release - Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Tuesday that the club has agreed to terms of a three-year contract with free agent DT James Reed. No other terms of the agreement were made available.

Reed (6-0, 286) started 15 games at defensive tackle for Kansas City in 2006, totaling 42 tackles (29 solo), a sack (-3.0 yards), 10 QB pressures and five passes defensed. He also started the club?s AFC Wild Card Game at Indianapolis (1/6/07), tallying four tackles (three solo). He joined the Chiefs as a free agent in 2006. [READ]
