Culpepper Remains Optimistic He'll Be Dolphins' Starter

ESPN.com - Dolphins quarterback Daunte Culpepper, who is still recovering from a second surgery on his right knee, said he won't fully take part in the team's minicamp next weekend.

But Culpepper told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel of Fort Lauderdale that he remains optimistic that he will regain his pre-injury form -- and that he'll be the Dolphins' starter again when he does.

"When I'm healthy it won't matter," Culpepper told the newspaper. "Without a doubt, [I'm still the man]. I definitely want to be the [Dolphins'] quarterback and that's what I'm working hard to be. Like I said, when I'm healthy, it's no issue." [READ]
