Cleveland To Ramp Up Pursuit Of Green

Plain-Dealer - The Browns are apparently ready to step up their pursuit of Chiefs quarterback Trent Green.

Browns General Manager Phil Savage told WTAM AM/1100 on Thursday morning that the next step is to negotiate a "ballpark contract" for Green that would prompt him to want to come to Cleveland for a visit.

Green's agent, Jim Steiner, declined to comment Thursday night on possible negotiations - but also didn't deny that they've begun. [READ]
