| 28th July, 2005 - 3:15 pm |  Florida Today - The only player taken in this year?s supplemental draft, Manuel Wright, left Tuesday?s practice in tears after being chastised Dolphins coach Nick Saban. However, it is Wright?s back that concerns Saban, not his tears.
"We wanted to check his back out; that is part of the issue," Saban said. "We have a protocol and procedure for how we do things around here and sometimes young players don't understand that. As I tell the players, we are going to try and help you in every way that we can to be as successful as you can be, but when you don't do things the way you are supposed to do them, we are going to . . . demand that you do it right.
"That's what I did with him (Tuesday) and that's the rest of the story. That's all there is to it." [READ] |
