Stallworth Still Mulling Options

Boston Herald - Wide receiver Donte Stallworth came and went from Foxboro yesterday without a signed contract, which is a departure from the way the Patriots have done business so far this dizzying free agency season.

There were various reports last night that the Pats had made a hard-to-believe, six-year, $32 million offer to Stallworth.

Sources said Stallworth would make trips to Tennessee and Miami the next few days, and then choose between the various offers.

There were other reports that Stallworth actually agreed to a deal, but those were apparently false alarms. [READ]
