Texans Shopping Carr

Democrat & Chronicle - The Houston Texans reportedly are shopping quarterback David Carr for as little as a third-round draft pick.

Carr, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2002 NFL draft, has a 23-53 record with the Texans, but a more telling stat is the 249 times he was sacked behind a porous offensive line.

It is difficult to complete passes under constant pressure, but Carr managed an NFL-best 68.3 completion percentage in 2006 (302 of 442 for 2,767 yards with 11 TD passes and 12 interceptions). His passer rating was a respectable 82.1. [READ]
