The Seattle Supersonics announced on Thursday that they had signed the 12th Overall pick in the 2001 draft Vladimir Radmanovic. Under the NBA's rookie salary scale, he will receive within 20 percent of $3.9 million over three seasons. The Sonics have an option for a fourth year at a 37.8 percent increase of his third-year salary.

``His youth and perimeter skills will definitely help us this season and in the future,'' coach Nate McMillan said. ``Vladimir has tremendous potential and is already a scorer with the versatility to play four positions.''
