Schulters Hopes To Stay In Tennessee
14th May, 2005 - 1:16 pm
The Tennessean - Agent Brian Levy said he's hopeful his client Lance Schulters will be a Titan in 2005 but knows his high cap number ($4.2 million) could make him a potential post-June 1 salary cap casualty.

''I just want to get a sense on what is going on two weeks from now. If he is going to be available I'd like to at least go ahead and start my due diligence on his behalf,'' Levy said.

''He'll play football next year. Where it will be, that really depends on what the Titans want. Hopefully we'll go in there and they'll say he's in our plans and we'll just leave it at that. I know Lance likes it there and he'd like to be a part of it.''

Schulters, who missed most of last season with a foot injury, is healthy.

The Titans need to create more salary cap room to sign their draft picks. [READ]
