Baron Davis loves basketball, there is no question. So what did the young Hornets star do during the offseason, the supposed time for rest? He played in charity games and participating in two summer leagues, and now Davis is preparing to represent the USA in the Basketball Goodwill Games to be played in Australia next month. What does his coach, Paul Silas, think about all this? "I just don’t want him to wear himself too thin," Silas said. He also thinks that the experience will do wonders for Davis' development, according to the Gaston Gazette. "I think that Baron’s mental preparation and mental attitude will be significant for his future improvement," Silas said. "This will only help all of that. This should really help him develop the mental toughness he needs to be a star in this league." |
