Denver Fires Defensive Coordinator

NFL.com - The Denver Broncos released defensive coordinator Larry Coyer, nine days after their season came to a close with five losses in their last seven games.

Coyer oversaw a defense that started 2006 on a record pace, becoming the first team in 64 years to not allow a touchdown over the first 11 quarters and drawing comparisons to some of the NFL's best ever. [READ]
