Cowher Flies To North Carolina

Allegheny Times - The Steelers? top two officials did meet with coach Bill Cowher early Tuesday morning, but contrary to an ESPN.com report, did not pressure the coach to decide on his immediate future.

Cowher, who?s expected to resign, then flew to Raleigh, N.C., to be with his wife Kaye and the youngest of the couple?s three daughters, Lindsay, a high school sophomore. It?s believed that Cowher isn?t due back in Pittsburgh until next Tuesday.

Despite Mortensen?s report on ESPN.com, a franchise spokesman said there is no timetable on when an announcement might come. [READ]
