Steelers Think Cowher Leaning Towards Leaving

Tribune-Review - Following his exit interview with Cowher Monday, Alan Faneca said, ?I think he?s definitely leaning towards calling it a day.?

Cowher has a year left on his contract but he could walk away from the job he has held since a variety of reasons, including family and financial considerations.


?What people really don?t understand is when you?re a head coach, you deal with all of the stressful hours of being a coach,? linebacker Joey Porter said. ?It comes to a point where do you let football be your whole life? You don?t get to do the stuff that normal people do. He can?t just go to a restaurant and have dinner with his family. I know he?s been giving that up his whole life so at some point and time he will want that back.? [READ]
