McGahee Hurt During First Quarter

AP - Bills running back Willis McGahee limped off the field after being knocked woozy following a helmet-to-helmet hit in the first quarter against the Dolphins on Sunday.

McGahee was hurt on the first possession when, running off right tackle, he was hit by Zach Thomas, the linebacker's helmet striking the running back's helmet. McGahee fumbled on the play, the ball recovered by Miami's Donnie Spragan.

After laying on the field for several minutes, McGahee walked slowly to the sideline while pointing to his helmet. He sat on the bench wearing a jacket and did not return for next series. [READ]
