The Dallas Cowboys have increased optimism that DeMarco Murray will play in Week 16 despite a broken hand that was surgically repaired this week.

"He's tough, he has a high pain threshold and he feels good. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays," a source told Rapoport.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Cowboys are expected to leave it up to Murray.
