Dave Gettleman, general manager of the Carolina Panthers, will run the third day of the NFL draft remotely via Skype from Worcester, Massachusetts.

Gettleman's son, Sam, is graduating from Becker College and he wanted to be on hand to see the ceremony in person. Gettleman said the decision was approved by Panthers owner Jerry Richardson in March.

"Through the process of technology, nothing will change. The process will be exactly the same," said Gettleman.
