Chicago Returns Missed Field Goal 108 Yards For TD

AP - Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears tied an NFL record by returning a field goal that came up short 108 yards for a touchdown against the Giants.

Hester caught the ball in the back of the end zone after Jay Feely's 52-yard field goal attempt came up short. After hesitating briefly and casually walking to the front of the end zone, Hester took off and sprinted down the right sideline.

On Nov. 13, 2005 -- almost exactly a year ago -- the Bears' Nathan Vasher caught Joe Nedney's missed 52-yard field-goal attempt in the back of the end zone on the final play of the first half for a 108-yard TD return. [READ]
