The San Francisco 49ers have acquired Blaine Gabbert from the Jacksonville Jaguars for a sixth round pick.

Gabbert was the 10th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Gabbert will backup Colin Kaepernick who was a second rounder in the same 2011 NFL Draft.
