Redskins' Rogers Has Surgery On Thumb

AP - Washington Redskins cornerback Carlos Rogers had surgery Monday on a broken right thumb, although the injury might not keep him out of next week's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Rogers had three screws inserted in his thumb, which he injured during Sunday's loss to Tennessee.

"We'll just evaluate him as the week goes on," trainer Bubba Tyer said. [READ]
