Their quarterback is at the top of the league in almost every category, yes. They have allowed a league-best 7.2 points a game, yes. And, they even seem to be getting better. OK. Enough. Let?s move on, shall we? There?s a whole damn league to talk about. Trust me, a lot happens in a week.
Fact is, they are not the only team out there with a punishing defensive unit. Baltimore, Denver, San Diego, Atlanta have all let us know which example they lead by, each team to date allowing ten points or less a game.
Meanwhile the others- Pittsburgh, New England, Carolina, Jacksonville, Seattle, for instance, may yet return to the defensive glories they enjoyed over recent years. Oh, and don?t forget defensive sleepers Kansas City and Washington. Right. You get my drift about the defense thing.
