Hall Could Be Done

Washington Post - John Hall, kicker for the Redskins, has a strained groin and thigh and his condition is so uncertain that the team will try out five possible replacements today, including Nick Novak, who filled in for Hall last season.

The Redskins also will bring in former Atlanta Falcons place kicker Todd Peterson; Tyler Jones, who was cut by the Redskins in training camp; and former Redskin Ola Kimrin for an early afternoon workout, sources said. The name of the other kicker could not be determined last night.

"We definitely have to do something about this," Coach Joe Gibbs said. "It seemed to act up on John and I thought he was compensating." [READ]
