Michael Lombardi has been hired by the Cleveland Browns as VP of player personnel.

Lombardi will join Browns CEO Joe Banner, with whom he worked in the Philadelphia Eagles' personnel department in 1998.

Lombardi was with the Oakland Raiders between 1998 and 2007.

Lombardi was with the Browns previously between 1987 and 1996.
