Favre Expects To Play Sunday Despite Injuries

AP - Despite still feeling the effects of a possible slight concussion and pinched nerve in his neck, Brett Favre expects to play Sunday against St. Louis.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback hasn't thrown a football since he was hit hard in Monday night's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Favre was considering participating in the Packers' practice session on Wednesday even though he feels some pain when he turns his head a certain way.

He spent time in the steam room on Tuesday, but can't do much else to heal.

"It's a pinched nerve and maybe a slight concussion, but there's nothing you can do for it," he said Wednesday. [READ]
