AP - The Green Bay Packers ran out of patience with nickel cornerback Ahmad Carroll.

Less than 24 hours after his up-and-down performance in Monday night's 31-9 loss to Philadelphia, the Packers placed Carroll on waivers Tuesday. A 2004 first-round draft pick by Green Bay, Carroll never realized his potential, and the Packers had seen enough. [READ]
