49ers, CB Spencer Agree To Six-Year Extension

AP - Cornerback Shawntae Spencer agreed Wednesday night to a six-year contract extension with the San Francisco 49ers.

The third-year pro signed an extension keeping him with the club through 2012, according to a person within the league familiar with the signing who spoke on condition of anonymity because Spencer wanted to keep the deal quiet.
