49ers' Allen Out For 2-4 Weeks, LT Jennings Doubtful

AP - San Francisco left guard Larry Allen is expected to miss at least two games with an injured knee ligament, while left tackle Jonas Jennings could play for the 49ers on Sunday despite his sprained ankle.

The news could have been worse Monday for the two veteran free-agent signees on the left side of the 49ers' line. Both were injured during San Francisco's season-opening loss at Arizona, but neither is thought to be lost for the season. [READ]
