Chargers Sign Olivea To New Six-Year Deal

AP - Chargers offensive tackle Shane Olivea signed a new six-year deal Wednesday that will run through the 2011 season.

He was due to become a restricted free agent following this season.

Olivea has been the starting right tackle since joining the team as a seventh-round draft choice out of Ohio State in 2004. He's missed only one start, due to a sprained knee. [READ]
