Jags' Greg Jones Out For Season With Torn ACL

Yahoo.com - Coach Jack Del Rio planned to give fullback Greg Jones a bigger role in the offense this year. Unfortunately, it will not happen.

The Jaguars announced on Monday that Jones will miss the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee.

The third-year player suffered the injury in Saturday's preseason game against Tampa Bay.

Del Rio initially believed the injury to be a sprained MCL, but an MRI revealed that Jones had a torn ACL. [READ]
